This Association was formed and exists to bring together companies and individuals involved directly or indirectly with the designing, manufacturing, distributing, selling, and installation of legitimate types of hurricane and wind storm protection in a non-competitive atmosphere and to exchange ideas with the goal of improving the industry.

Educate the public and government on the advantages and disadvantages of various types of hurricane protection and help protect the public from product and contractor fraud.

Advise, educate and guide public officials and other governmental agencies in developing state statutes or local ordinances that are consistent with the overall goal of adequately protecting the public and property at an affordable price.

Educate and develop training programs to improve the quality of applicants, desiring to enter the hurricane protection industry.

Engage in any legal activity that is consistent with the goals stated above.
