New Board of Directors

The IHPA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Arone, Cesar Avila and John Kampmann to the Board of Directors in the Associate/Affiliate category. At the Houston Board of Directors meeting, the Board voted to change the composition of the Board of Directors as follows: each category (Manufacturer, Contractor, Supplier, Associate/Affiliate) is capped at three members with a minimum of two members in each group. There can be up to 10 voting members including the President. The President seat can be filled by any category and does not count against the minimum or maximum. The Board Seats will be filled based on votes.

Tim Arone, Vice President of Risk Management, oversees PURE’s Risk Management operations throughout the United States. With over 22 years of experience in personal lines insurance for high net worth individuals and families, he has inspected some of the country’s most unique homes, exotic automobiles and valuable articles and developed cutting-edge loss prevention programs and services. This extensive background and expertise in the valuation and risk management of high-end, one-of-a kind homes has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the natural catastrophes that can threaten homes throughout the country and the unique needs of PURE members. Tim is OSHA certified in construction-site safety, and he is a certified level-1 thermographer and a licensed insurance broker and claims adjuster.
Cesar Avila is a Civil & Network Engineer, with over 15 years of experience in the IT field. He is the founder and principal of AVLA.net – IT Solutions, a consulting firm with clients in different markets across the nation including Florida, New York & California. After moving from his native Chile to the USA, he’s gone on to work with companies across a broad range of industries and is committed to bringing the most current technology and comprehensive solutions to help them optimize their processes through the use of technology. His main focus today is working with medium size business owners, to help them understand and overcome the technology challenges they face in the process of growing their business.
